The device creates microthermal treatment zones; these small dots are visible immediately after the treatment and result in tiny scabs that gradually heal and fall off over the period of 7 – 10 days. Some swelling is also common after treatment, which may be more obvious on day two. The area treated may be tender for 1-4 days. Makeup can be used to cover any redness once the skin has healed; this redness will typically resolve within 2 months.
